January:

Weekly Net Check-ins: Date: January 4th, 11th and 25th, 2012. Time: 8:00pm or 2000 hours. Location: From your HAM Radio on the Frequency: *146.880 R 88.5 MHz, 223.940 R 100.0 and 449.900 R 100.0 Alternate: *147.540 S

Monthly In Person Meeting: Date: January 18th, 2012. Time: 7:00pm or 1900 hours. Location: Salt Lake County EOC at 3380 South 900 West Access to the EOC will begin at 6:30pm

General Class License Preparation Course:
To be held at Heritage Baptist Church, Southwest Classroom, 1502 Walnut Drive, SLC.  (Go to 7-11 at 500 North on Redwood Road, turn East, go over the river and two blocks east to Walnut Drive, turn south, proceed one half block to the driveway, park in back, enter via rear doors).

Pre-requisite for class is possession of a current FCC Amateur Radio Technician Class License or current Technician CSCE.

We are using the Gordon West W5YI General Class 2011-2015 manual.   Cost
for this set of classes is $40.  This includes your manual and license exam, which will be done January 28.

Class times: January 17th, 19th, 21st, 24th, 26th, and 28th. On January 17th, 19th, 24th, and 26th class will be held 6pm-9pm and on January 21st and 28th class will be held 1pm-4pm.
